Claire Jaeyoon ParkPresidentClaire Jaeyoon Park is a junior at Crean Lutheran High School who has a deep passion for Korean Traditional Music and Instruments. Her musical journey began in the 3rd grade, and after moving to America, she has been dedicated to spreading Korean culture in the United States. “I feel very privileged to be able to continue my passion for Korean music at the very heart of Irvine asian community where I can inspire Korean Americans to feel the beat that has been transmitted from our ancestors” she says. She is able to play most instruments of Samul and has been spinning sangmo at Doodream. Spinning sangmo is a type of traditional Korean dance that involves a ribbon that the dancer twirls and spins to create visually captivating movements. Her involvement in this organization, Dodream, showcases her commitment to the preservation and promotion of Korean heritage.

I am a junior at Northwood High School and have been playing the Buk. I am happy to be able to promote Korean traditional culture and excitement as a member of Doodream. I will always do my best to contribute to Doodream for its success of entertaining more people with our music, Samulnori.

As a junior at northwood high school, Minseo expresses his passion for Korea through music. By performing Buk in festivals and health care centers, he instantiates his love for his heritage and imparts the joy of playing music to his listeners.
